The Time Diary activity data from the second wave of the Child Development Supplement (CDS-II) are now available in the PSID-CDS Data Documentation Center . The time diary data were collected the same way as CDS-I for one randomly sampled weekday and one weekend day. The codes were expanded to a four digit coding scheme to capture additional detail on extracurricular and community activities. See the codebook for details: http://psidonline.isr.umich.edu /CDS/Codebooks/2003codebook.pdf. There are more than 99,000 activity records for 2,569 CDS response children.
