We began collecting information about the Asian Ethnicity of Heads/Reference Persons,
Spouses/Partners and their children at (K40a/L40a/OS8A) in the 2015 wave of the Core PSID,
as well as in the Transition into Adulthood Supplement (TAS) in 2013. These variables are
suppressed due to low case counts in each category. The
Asian Ethnicity of Head/Reference Person and Spouse/Partner,
Asian Ethnicity of Child,
and Asian Ethnicity of TAS Individual
Codebooks/Variable Lists describe these files.
For TAS, additional Ethnicity questions were collected starting in 2017.
